If he said "a hawk eating a puppy," that would've made me sad, but bunnies are a dime a dozen and hawks are neat.

Agreed. Dogs are --insert your chosen diety here--'s gift to man.
What if it had been a cat? If it were a cat I would say let the hawk eat.

I saw a hawk flying low one morning, and it was carrying a BIG rabbit. Seeing this made made me smile. That hawk was bad ass.
