Go ahead and call me apathetic. See if I care.

My point exactly! But you recently built a bigger better one.

I'm not saying Droids are better than iPhones...........but they are.

I don't mind saying it...from several perspectives.

1. I can modify the source of the operating system
2. The OS can be installed on innumerable devices
3. Easy SDK
4. It's allowed on more than one provider (AT&T owns your soul)
5. Again, it's allowed on more than one provider (AT&T owns your soul)
6. Removable memory card
7. Full keyboard
8. The radar plugin is pretty freakin awesome to develop with.
9. Layar and SomaView rock

I probably would have considered the Droid if it had been available on my corporate plan when I switched phones earlier this year.

Here's what I like about my iPhone:

1. It's so small I barely notice it in my pocket. (I'm weird about that. I don't even like keys or a wallet in my pocket.)
2. Work pays for every penny of my monthly fees. This is also why I don't care who the provider is.
3. It exceeds my needs.

That's all I got.

I once worked with a guy that never wore the same pair twice. He would just throw them away. He did the same with boxers.

Just bought an HTC Droid Eris. Don't know how it'll be. It's like a Moto Droid Lite. I get it tomorrow so I'm looking forward to it!

Good to hear it works. How's the tethering speed? Any hangups with live wallpaper or anything else you told me about?

Is it really hacking if you buy a keyboard that was made for the Droid, and when you use it as intended it works as expected? Sounds more like slacking to me...

Now, if you'd built one out of copper wire and Scrabble tiles... THAT'd be hacking...
